Single Database
The Spillman system can link multiple agencies together through a single, comprehensive, regional criminal database. Spillman’s unique architecture facilitates the use of host agencies and shared agencies, and combines information that each agency inputs into the shared Spillman system, enhancing the ability of each participating agency to meet the needs of their respective communities. It also helps smaller agencies expand their intelligence database without incurring enormous costs. Sharing information increases an agency's ability to prevent and solve crimes.
