Improved Accuracy

Geocoding, or address validation, gives your communications center access to a layered electronic map of your jurisdiction that contains detailed street and address information. The database displays specific addresses and intersections, including x- and y-coordinates, enabling dispatchers to rapidly identify correct locations, including common location names and alternate or alias street names. Active nearby calls that may be duplicates are also identified.

Dispatch-friendly Features

Spillman GIS and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software is fully integrated, offering dispatchers at your communications center a variety of user-friendly features, including full address information such as alerts and past incidents, CAD and pin mapping, address candidate scoring and color coding based on accuracy. The software also gives you the ability to search for addresses using common place names, use reverse coordinate-to-address geocoding, see alerts for duplicate calls, and view assigned dispatch zones
