You can easily manage commissary purchases for multiple inmates using Spillman’s Commissary Management module. Inmate order lists allow you to see which items are available to specific inmates only or to inmates housed in certain areas, and filter prohibited items. The software enables you to access an inmate’s current balance and retrieve a history of account transactions and receipts for an inmate.
Convenient Record-keeping and Reordering
Maintaining accurate commissary records is simplified with Spillman. You can use Spillman’s Commissary Management module to manage records for each of your facility’s suppliers. The Commissary Supplier Screen enables you to post and cancel orders as well as track inventory. Spillman software provides you with automatic warnings, such as gender restrictions or quantity purchase limits, before reordering. You can also set the screen to reorder items automatically based on current inventory levels. In addition, the software allows you to automatically calculate money owed, balance adjustments, and account closures.
Easy Reporting
View a summary of purchases and sales activities using the Commissary Management module’s detailed reports. Concise, easy-to-read reports provide supplier summaries, item costs, current inventory levels, orders pending, purchases payable, unit reports, and inmate purchase summaries.
Commissary Bar Coding
With Spillman’s Commissary Management module, you can track commissary items using bar codes. The software enables you to read data from the item’s original bar code or a bar code generated in the Spillman system. You can also use the software to calculate purchases and create a list of inmate orders.
Commissary Interfaces
Spillman provides interfaces for prominent commissary providers Keefe, Swanson, and Canteen. The interfaces allow you to create inmate accounts in the commissary software using Spillman records data and easily submit inmate orders.
