Key Benefits:

Time-saving Response Plans

Prepare planned responses, including personnel and equipment recommendations and incident instructions, using Spillman’s Response Plans module. You can define which agencies and units will respond to a fire or EMS call and view a comprehensive list of resources, such as equipment or vehicles, available within your agency or a neighboring agency’s jurisdiction. You can use Spillman’s Pictometry interface to measure a structure’s height, area, pitch, and distance from other objects, providing you with the information necessary to decide what type of fire equipment is required during an emergency response.

Premises Information

You can gather detailed information about residential, commercial, and public lots within your jurisdiction using the Fire Mobile Premises and HazMat module. The module enables you to store information about alarm locations and the number of floors and include fire pre-plans and a description of the location. You can also view detailed information about hazardous chemicals stored on site, including first aid responses, recommended protective clothing, and proper chemical handling.

Integrated Mapping

Spillman’s Fire Mobile AVL Mapping module allows you to track the location of units on a map of your jurisdiction. Seamless integration between Spillman’s Fire Mobile AVL Mapping module and Fire Mobile CAD module allows firefighters, dispatchers, and supervisors to view calls and units dispatched on the agency’s map.

Inspection Management

Manage all aspects of an inspection using Spillman’s ERS Fire and EMS Records interface. You can create custom inspection templates for specific types of buildings, such as schools and grocery stores. You can also set up an inspection schedule, review past inspections, view special permits, and track code violations.

Maintaining Resources

Track maintenance, registration, and inspection of your department vehicles to ensure that vehicles are kept in top condition using Spillman’s ERS Fire and EMS Records interface. You can monitor the condition, location, history, and upkeep of department equipment such as ladders, cell phones, shovels, axes, hoses, and saws. The interface allows you to keep a history of repairs, submit a maintenance request, and assign equipment to an apparatus or person.

Compliance with National Reporting Standards

Achieve National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS 5.0) and National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) compliance using Spillman’s ERS Fire & EMS Records interface. The system is equipped to handle a wide range of fire and EMS incident scenarios. Once the incident report is authorized, the validated record is submitted to NFIRS on a set schedule.

Field Reporting

ERS Fire & EMS Records interface allows you to efficiently complete reports from the field, reducing the need to return to the station to fill out paperwork. Reporting features such as red and green icons to show you which steps are complete and which have yet to be completed, preventing you from submitting a report until all required data has been entered. You can attach an image, document, or video file to a record. Using the interface, you can also view a list of reports you need to complete or review, submit a report for approval, view the report’s status, and set up a request for notification when the report is complete.

Real-time Communication

Maintain constant communication with dispatchers and department personnel using Spillman. The HipLink Paging interface allows dispatchers to send phone numbers, alphanumeric messages, call details, and incident updates to your pager manually or automatically based on the type and nature of the emergency.

Data Transferring

Seamless integration between the ERS Fire & EMS Records interface and Spillman’s CAD module provides you with immediate access to critical call information. Information gathered in CAD is automatically transferred into the corresponding ERS fields, including the incident number, call date and time, address, and incident narrative. If a dispatcher makes changes or additions in CAD, the new data is updated in the reporting system in real time. Spillman’s Firehouse and Zoll FRMS interfaces allow you to automatically transfer fire call information collected in Spillman’s Computer-Aided Dispatch solution to the appropriate fields in your Firehouse or Sunpro Fire Records System. The Firehouse interface automatically creates Firehouse records for data entry personnel to complete when the incident is over.
