Easy Booking and Assessments
Simplify inmate booking with Spillman’s Jail Management module. Step-by-step functions allow you to quickly enter inmates into the system. A checklist screen makes it easy for you to keep track of what has been completed for an inmate’s booking. Spillman allows you to assess inmates risk factors and medical needs using decision tree-based assessments, meaning that each question is dynamically determined by the inmate’s previous answer. You can create and maintain multiple customized assessments.
Tracking Inmate Movement
Knowing where inmates are located at all times is an essential part of jail safety. Spillman helps you track inmate movement by recording the time inmates are moved in or out of a location. You can track inmates using a bar-code scanner to scan a wristband when an inmate enters or leaves an area. The Jail Management module also warns you when gender, juvenile, maximum capacity, or security restrictions will be violated by moving inmates.
Commissary
Organize and maintain your jail commissary with Spillman’s Commissary Management module. You can create lists to show the items available to inmates housed in specific areas and filter items that are prohibited to certain inmates. You can also view inmate purchases, see an inmate’s current balance, and find a history of all account transactions and receipts. The Commissary Management module allows you to use a bar-code scanner to track commissary items, calculate purchases, and create a list of inmate orders. Spillman also provides you with custom-built interfaces through other industry commissary vendors.
One-touch Data Transfer
Efficiently transfer inmate data to Live Scan fingerprinting software while reducing the risk of data errors. Spillman’s Live Scan Fingerprinting Interface allows you to send specific inmate information to the Live Scan software. With a single touch of the Fingerprint button, the inmate’s name, gender, physical description, booking identification number, arresting agency, Social Security number, and other data are automatically entered into the correct fields on the inmate’s fingerprint card. Spillman also interfaces with Cross Match Live Scan machines.
Tracking Medical Information
Spillman’s Jail Management module allows you to track and view medical data for a single inmate and manage medical data for multiple inmates. Using the software, you can record an inmate’s medical conditions, see all current and past medications, and view an inmate’s physicians and screenings.
Simplified Billing and Reporting
Manage financial transactions for multiple agencies using Spillman’s Jail Management module. You can easily split the billing between several inmates and view a breakdown of billing by inmate or agency. You can also easily create reports from any table, export reports to Excel, and print or save reports.
Convenient Jail Interfaces
Transfer citations and warrants data from courts software into your agency database using Spillman. Spillman interfaces with industry leaders New Dawn and Incode Courts. Spillman’s VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) interface allows you to assist in offender tracking by reporting any changes in an inmate’s status or court schedule that occur in the Spillman system.
Inmate Lineups
Using Spillman’s Imaging module, you can quickly find images for mug shots and create automatic lineups that use a suspect’s physical characteristics to find other photos that fall within the default criteria.
