Key Benefits:
Efficient Map Configuration
Geographic Information System (GIS) technology is at the core of every Spillman system. Spillman GIS software allows you to save valuable time by connecting directly to an Esri Arc GIS server, eliminating the need to load a map into the database.
Esri Partnership
Spillman partners with Esri to ensure that we stay current with the latest mapping technology. You can be confident that your Spillman software will allow you to take advantage of the latest Esri offerings, such as network analysis, web-based mapping, and more.
Improved Accuracy
Geocoding, or address validation, gives your sheriff’s office access to a layered electronic map of your jurisdiction that contains detailed street and address information. The database displays specific addresses and intersections, including x- and y-coordinates, enabling dispatchers to rapidly identify correct locations, including common location names and alternate or alias street names. Active nearby calls that may be duplicates are also identified.
Dispatch-friendly Features
Spillman GIS and computer-aided dispatch software are fully integrated, offering dispatchers at your sheriff’s office a variety of user friendly features, including full address information such as alerts and past incidents, CAD and pin mapping, address candidate scoring and color coding based on accuracy, common place names, reverse coordinate-to-address geocoding, duplicate call alerts, and dispatch zone assignment and automatic routing.
