Tavares PD boosts response with Spillman software
SALT LAKE CITY – March 20, 2007 –The Tavares Police Department in Lake County, Fla., is preparing to implement a new software system from Spillman Technologies, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.
The new software will offer the police department proven solutions for records management and computer-aided dispatching. Serving a community of approximately 8,300 residents, Tavares will use these reliable and innovative solutions to build a foundation of secure and accurate agency-wide data.
Software selected by the agency to improve law enforcement capabilities include Spillman's CAD and E-911 Interface modules as well as Law Records with UCR/NIBRS.
The Tavares Police Department plans to go live with the new system on May 31, 2007.
