Spillman to help Squaxin Island PD boost communication

SALT LAKE CITY – July 6, 2007 – The Squaxin Island Police Department in western Washington is preparing to implement a new software system from Spillman Technologies, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.

The software will offer the tribal police department proven solutions for data management and real-time communication. Squaxin Island personnel will be able to organize information and easily search for names, evidence and locations. Improved response time and the ability to track cases from beginning to end will allow them to better serve area residents.

Software selected by the agency to expand law enforcement capabilities includes Spillman's Integrated Hub, the Law Records module, and the Mobile Communications module.

The Squaxin Island Police Department joins 130 other public safety agencies in Washington using Spillman. The agency hopes to go live with the new system later this year.

Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing. The software is installed at more than 700 agencies nationwide.
