Chester PD chooses Spillman’s integrated solutions

SALT LAKE CITY – August 6, 2007 – Ohio's Chester Township Police Department is adopting an innovative solution to help meet its data management and communication needs.

In November, the department will go live with new software system from Spillman Technologies, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.

The Chester Township Police Department will join the Geauga County Sheriff's Office and all of the county's police departments when it goes live with the Spillman system. The shared system will give the department access to county-wide data and enable it to track incoming calls.

Using Spillman's Law Records solution, the department will have the ability to store and secure critical data on suspects, locations and vehicles. The agency has also selected Spillman's Integrated Hub and the Computer-Aided Dispatch module to help expand its law enforcement capabilities.

The Chester Township Police Department joins 12 other public safety agencies in Ohio and more than 700 agencies nationwide using Spillman solutions.

Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing.
