Russell Township PD chooses Spillman’s integrated solutions
SALT LAKE CITY – August 6, 2007 – The Russell Township Police Department has selected Spillman Technologies to help them access county-wide law enforcement data.
In November, the department will implement a new software system from Spillman, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.
The system will offer the agency the ability to track incoming calls and provide units with real-time updates. The department will share the system with the Geauga County Sheriff's Agency and local police departments, allowing them to access countywide information on suspects, locations, incidents, and other critical data.
Software selected by the agency to expand law enforcement capabilities includes Spillman's Integrated Hub, Law Records module, and Computer-Aided Dispatch module.
Dispatchers will be able to use Spillman's innovative solutions to track calls from the time they are received until the time they are resolved. Department personnel can use statistical information in the countywide database to easily create accurate reports.
The Russell Township Police Department will join 12 other public safety agencies in Ohio and more than 700 agencies nationwide using Spillman solutions.
Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing. The company has been serving public safety agencies since 1978.
