Spillman helps Saratoga Springs PD share records
SALT LAKE CITY – August 6, 2007 – A new public safety software system is enabling the Saratoga Springs Police Department to share information with multiple agencies and generate reports for crime analysis.
The department is using innovative software from Spillman Technologies, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.
The Saratoga Springs Police Department went live with the new software in July. They are now part of a shared system that includes 15 other agencies in Utah and San Juan counties.
The shared system gives Saratoga Spring Police Department access to critical data from all participating agencies. It also enables the department to track incoming calls, provide officers with real-time updates, and generate reports for crime analysis. Using Spillman's AVL Mapping solution, the department can decrease response time by tracking the locations of all fleet units and calculating the shortest distance between incidents.
The Saratoga Springs Police Department is one of 96 agencies in Utah and more than 700 agencies nationwide using Spillman software solutions.
