Spillman to help South Russell PD improve response time
SALT LAKE CITY – August 6, 2007 – In an effort to boost data collection and dispatch services, the South Russell Police Department in Ohio will adopt an innovative software system from Spillman Technologies.
The new software will offer the Ohio department solutions for securing data and generating reports for crime analysis.
The South Russell Police Department will join the Geauga County Sheriff's Office and each of the county's police departments as Spillman customers when it goes live with the system in November. Spillman solutions will give the South Russell Police Department access to county-wide information and enable it to compile detailed summaries on offenses and arrests.
Software selected by the agency to expand law enforcement capabilities includes Spillman's Integrated Hub, Law Records module, and Computer-Aided Dispatch module.
The South Russell Police Department will become one of 13 agencies in Ohio and more than 700 agencies nationwide that use products from Spillman, a leading public safety provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.
