Spillman helps Bethel PD enhance data, access records

SALT LAKE CITY – September 11, 2007 – A new public safety software system will enable the Bethel Police Department in Maine to share information with neighboring agencies and generate reports for crime analysis.

The department will adopt innovative solutions from Spillman Technologies, a leading public safety software provider headquartered in Salt Lake City.

Spillman's Integrated Hub and Law Records module will help the Bethel Police Department expand its law enforcement capabilities and better serve the town's nearly 2,400 residents.

When the agency goes live with the software this fall, it will join the Oxford County Sheriff's Office and five local police departments on a shared system. Spillman's solutions will allow the Bethel Police Department to access a comprehensive database of names, addresses and other information, and use that data to create reliable reports.

The Bethel Police Department will join 35 other agencies in Maine and more than 700 agencies nationwide already using Spillman products.

Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing.
