Walton County chooses Spillman’s integrated solutions

SALT LAKE CITY – February 12, 2008 – The Walton County Sheriff's Office and 9-1-1 Center in Georgia will soon share a database of names, addresses and other information.

The agencies have adopted innovative software from Spillman Technologies of Salt Lake City. They plan to go live in the second quarter of 2008 with Spillman's Integrated Hub and Records, Dispatch, Mobile, Corrections, and Resources solutions.

Dispatchers can use Spillman's Computer-Aided Dispatch module to efficiently manage calls and access up-to-date information on criminal histories, warrants, and other dangers. Information entered into CAD is automatically populated into the appropriate record fields, simplifying data entry and reducing the chance of creating duplicate entries.

With Mobile Records, officers can use their laptop computers to query the Spillman database for names, vehicles, and other critical information gathered by both Walton County public safety agencies.

Using Spillman's Jail Records module, personnel at the Walton County Jail will have the ability to easily book inmates, evaluate their medical history, and track their location within the correctional facility.

Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Records Management, Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing. The software is installed at more than 700 agencies nationwide.
