Richland County chooses Spillman for data management
SALT LAKE CITY – March 27, 2009 – Spillman Technologies is helping the Richland County Sheriff's Office dispatch efficiently and better manage its jail operations.
Using Spillman's Computer-Aided Dispatch module, county dispatchers can use the CAD module to track and dispatch calls quickly while ensuring the safety of field personnel. The software enables them to conveniently manage and maintain accurate call records. Dispatch personnel can customize the CAD status screen, allowing them to work efficiently.
In addition, Spillman's Jail Records module enables the agency to streamline the booking process for its jail operations. Using the software, personnel can automate the risk and medical assessment of an inmate as well as track inmate location and movement.
The Wisconsin agency also purchased Spillman's Law Records, Evidence Management, Traffic Information, and State Link modules.
With Spillman's Law Records and Evidence Management modules, the department can consolidate all law incident records into one database and create incident and case management reports. Agency personnel can also track the status and location of evidence and link items to property records.
The Richland County Sheriff's Office is one of 55 public safety agencies in Wisconsin and more than 750 agencies nationwide using Spillman software. The agency went live with its Spillman system in March 2009.
Spillman Technologies provides a full range of software solutions for public safety agencies, including Records Management, Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire/EMS Management, Resource Management, and Data Sharing.
