Spillman Technologies was founded and is headquartered in Utah. Originally located in Logan, Spillman relocated to Salt Lake City in 2005.
Spillman employs nearly 300 individuals. A significant contributor to the local economy, Spillman pays nearly $20 million in Utah employee wages.
Spillman has been recognized as one of the best places in Utah to work as recognized by organizations and publications including Utah Business magazine and the Utah Department of Workforce Services. Utah Business magazine also ranked Spillman No. 8 among Utah’s software developers in 2013. Spillman hosts a Users’ Conference each year in Salt Lake City. The company invests more than $500,000 locally on an annual basis to host the conference. The Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates that conference attendees contribute an additional $600,000 in annual tourism revenue to Salt Lake City’s economy.
As part of Spillman’s participation in various charitable contributions, the company hosts an annual Spillman Classic Charity Golf Tournament. In 2014, funds raised from the tournament benefiting the Cache Valley for Hope Cancer Foundation, helping families in Cache Valley, Utah, who are battling cancer to meet their everyday financial obligations. Spillman’s tournament has previously benefited Special Olympics Utah and raised over $25,000 annually to support changing the lives of the athletes, their families, and caregivers.
